Pramit Ghose
Managing Partner, Head of Asset Management
Pramit is responsible for developing and managing the Bloxham suite of funds. Pramit has a long and successful record in managing investments. His actuarial background gives him particular understanding of matching assets to investors’ risk profiles. Over the past decade he headed up the investment operations of both Friends First and Hibernian and won a Moneymate Fund Manager of the Year Award in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.
Niall Tinney
Partner, Sales & Development
Niall’s main roles are to develop investment products and ongoing relationships with our key fund partners, and to market the Bloxham Pension and Investment funds to intermediaries and their clients. Niall has over twenty years experience in designing investment products and providing advice and assistance to both investment intermediaries and investors, having previously worked with Prudential Life, Friends First and New Ireland. He joined Bloxham in March 2003.
Maura O’Neill
Wealth Development Manager
Maura’s responsibilities include advising the firms clients on pension matters, assisting in portfolio management and new business sales and development. A qualified accountant and a member of the Irish Taxation Institute Maura has over fourteen years experience in the fund management arena. She joined Bloxham from Anglo Irish Bank’s Wealth Management Division having previously been a director of New Ireland Investment Management Ltd. She is also a Registered Representative of the Irish Stock Exchange.
Bernard Murphy
Fund Manager
Bernard has over thirty years’ experience in the investment industry and is also a qualified accountant. Having started his career in stockbroking, he moved to the investment division of Hibernian in 1981 and was a founding director of Hibernian Investment Managers in 1989. Over the years Bernard has managed a wide range of equity portfolios, and has built up an enviable track record of consistent performance. He joined Bloxham in February 2004, and co-manages the Bloxham Funds with Pramit.
Paul O’Brien
Fund Manager
A graduate of DCU, Paul joined the Asset Management department in 2005 having previously worked as an equity analyst in Bloxham since 2002. Paul specialises in portfolio risk management and using quantitative research techniques to identify suitable stocks for the Bloxham Funds. In addition to working on the broader suite of Bloxham funds, Paul has sole responsibility for running Discovery, our midcap growth fund. Paul holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a M.Sc. in Investment and Treasury.
Des Flood
Fund Manager
Des joined Bloxham in June 2007, having previously worked for three years as a senior fund manager at Bank of Ireland Asset Management (BIAM) in Dublin. At BIAM he worked both on European regional and global portfolios. Prior to that Des spent nine years working at Hibernian Investment Managers as Head of Equities and Eurozone Asset Manager. Des previously worked in the UK between 1987 and 1995 at National Mutual of Australia as a UK Asset Manager and at Paribas Capital Markets as a Capital Goods Analyst. Des has a Masters degree in Economics and is a member of the CFA Institute and Securities Institute.
Ann O’Connor
Sales Manager
Ann has over twenty-five years experience in the investment industry. Having started her career in retail banking she moved to Bank of Ireland Private Banking’s Wealth Management division as a Financial Planning Manager to private clients. Ann is responsible for providing advice on Bloxham pension and investment funds to intermediaries and their clients. She joined Bloxham in 2005 and is currently managing the south east area.
Shane O’Neill
Head of UK Distribution
Shane has over fifteen years investment experience in the industry having been an investment fund sales specialist in the UK since the early 1990’s. During his time in the UK he has worked with Prudential, Gartmore Investment Management, Rothschild Asset Management and Resolution Asset Management distributing and marketing a wide range of Investment Products. In 2007 he joined Bloxham to head up the sale, marketing and distribution of the Elite Bloxham Global Equity Income Fund into the UK. He will target Multi-Managers, Stockbrokers, Private Banks, Intermediaries, Life companies, Charities and Family offices. In Ireland he will be responsible for the sale and distribution of Bloxham Investment Funds to brokers in the West of Ireland including his home county of Galway.
